تميم البرغوثي شاعر فلسطيني، ولد بالقاهرة عام 1977. اشتُهر في العالم العربي بقصائده التي تتناول قضايا الأمة، وكان أول ظهور جماهيري له في برنامج أمير الشعراء على تلفزيون أبو ظبي. وهو ابن الشاعر الفلسطيني مريد البرغوثي، والكاتبة المصرية رضوى عاشور.حاصل على الدكتوراه في العلوم السياسية من جامعة بوسطن بالولايات المتحدة الأمريكية عام 2004، عمل أستاذاً مساعداً للعلوم السياسية بالجامعة الأمريكية بالقاهرة، ومحاضراً بجامعة برلين الحرة، كما عمل بقسم الشؤون السياسية بالأمانة العامة للأمم المتحدة بنيو يورك .

Tamim Al-Barghouti is a Palestinian poet, born in Cairo in 1977.
He became famous in the Arab world for his poems addressing the issues of the nation.
His first public appearance was on the TV show 'Prince of Poets' on Abu Dhabi TV.
He is the son of Palestinian poet Mourid Al-Barghouti and Egyptian writer Radwa Ashour.
He earned a Ph.D. in political science from Boston University in the USA in 2004.
He worked as an assistant professor of political science at the American University in Cairo,
and as a lecturer at the Free University of Berlin.
He also worked in the political affairs department at the United Nations headquarters in New York.
