ক্ষণে ক্ষণে বারে বারে কষ্ট যে দেয় ভুলে যেতে হয় তাকে ভুলে যেতে হয়! আমি কি পারবো ভুলতে তাকে? কিছু মানুষ চিরদিনই অন্তরে রয়। আমার কবরের পাশ দিয়ে সে যাবে দেখো আনমনে খুব আনন্দে! আমি কি পারবো ভুলতে তাকে? যদিও বুক ফেটে যায় তার দুঃখে। শত্রুকেও বড়ো ভালোবাসা যায় পরিস্থিতি তাকে শত্রু বানায়! আমি কি পারবো ভুলতে তাকে? চিরশত্রু হয়ে থাকবে ধরায়। আমার মনে সে রবে চিরকাল বুনে রেখেছে জানি না কোন জাল! আমি কি পারবো ভুলতে তাকে? সে ভুলে যাবে আমায় আজ বা কাল।

Translation (English)

Every moment, again and again, it causes pain You have to forget it, you have to forget it! Can I forget it? Some people stay in your heart forever.
