তোমার চোখের জল যদি গো পড়ে, দান করো এই অভাগী পিপাসার্তরে! চোখের মণি কালো বৃত্ত তাতেই যেন স্বর্গ মর্ত্য সকাল হলে ডাক দিয়ো গো কোকিলের স্বরে! তোমার ঠোঁটের হাসি যদি গো ফোটে, দান করো কিন্চিত সুখ মোর মানসপটে! ঠোঁটের রঙ গোলাপী লাল সেই হাসিটার মর্ম বিশাল মহিমাময়ী এই দৃশ্য বুঝি নাই মোর ললাটে! তোমার পায়ের ধুলা যদি গো পাই, আত্মদানে ধন্য হইয়া আস্তিনে লুকাই! পদধুলির সুবাস কি যে হায় নাসিকা লুটাইয়া পড়ে মহিমায় শুকরিয়াতে দুটি হাত আকাশে বাড়াই! আমার আপন বলতে;খোদা উপরে, যমীনে তুমি মুখ ফিরাইয়া দাও একা করে! তোমার পানে যতই তাকাইলাম ইহকালের যত চিন্তা সব হারাইলাম খোদা মোরে ডাক দিলে তুমি থাকিও ঘোরে!
Translation (English)
If your tears fall,
Give them to this unlucky thirsty person!
The black circle of your eyes
Feels like heaven and earth
Call me in the morning with the cuckoo's voice!
If your lips smile,
Give a little joy to my mind's picture!
The color of your lips is pinkish red
The meaning of that smile is huge
I don't understand this grand sight on my forehead!
If I get the dust of your feet,
I will be blessed in self-giving and hide it in my sleeve!
What is the scent of the foot dust
The nose bows down in majesty
I raise two hands to the sky in thanks!
In my own words; God above,
On earth, you turn your face away and leave me alone!
As much as I looked at you
All thoughts of this life disappeared
If God calls me, you stay in a daze!
