Original Poem
Like the Surge of a Coitus Urge You'll know it when it hits you Unstoppable Unpredictable Undeniable Oh, the surge of coitus urge! The nudge within Demands a barrier in between You resist it Try to ignore it Dare to dismiss it Like you would an unwelcome suitor But it lingers Teases And dares you back! Tempting is the fruit But more tempting is the unknown bit Of the end result Will it be a boy or a girl? Will it be worthwhile? With each delay, each stay Builds the surge! Until it's held Nothing can be told And so in this new landscape Like a prison escape I treasure My newfound love To write To create To be a Poet! And now I ask, Would it have been better To listen sooner to the surge Or to let the urge take chargeLike the surge of a coitus urge?
Translation (English)
Like the strong urge of desire
You'll know it when it hits you
It's unstoppable
It's unpredictable
It's undeniable
Oh, the strong urge of desire!
The feeling inside
Demands a separation
You try to resist it
Try to ignore it
Dare to dismiss it
Like you would an unwelcome admirer
But it stays
Teases
And challenges you back!
The fruit is tempting
But the unknown outcome is more tempting
Of the final result
Will it be a boy or a girl?
Will it be worth it?
With each delay, each pause
The urge grows!
Until it's fulfilled
Nothing can be known
And so in this new world
Like escaping from prison
I cherish
My new love
To write
To create
To be a poet!
And now I wonder,
Would it have been better
To listen to the urge sooner
Or to let the desire take control like the strong urge of desire?

Detailed Explanation
This poem explores the intense and often overwhelming nature of desire, comparing it to a 'surge of coitus urge.' The poet describes the feeling as unstoppable, unpredictable, and undeniable, emphasizing its powerful impact. The poem uses the metaphor of an 'unwelcome suitor' to illustrate the struggle to resist this urge, which persists and teases the individual. The imagery of 'tempting fruit' and the 'unknown bit' suggests the allure of the unknown and the potential outcomes of giving in to desire. The poem also reflects on the creative process, likening the urge to write and create to the same powerful force. The poet questions whether it would have been better to embrace the urge sooner or to let it take control, ultimately celebrating the act of creation and the freedom it brings. The poem's free verse form allows for a fluid exploration of these themes, capturing the complexity and depth of human desire and creativity.
