আমি চাই না আর বাঁচতে কারো বোঝা হয়ে থাকতে আর লোকের কথায় কষ্ট পেয়েও মিথ্যা হাসি হাসতে! আমার একটাই ইচ্ছা হয় শুধু মরতেই মনে চায় তবে খোদার বিচার কত কঠিন তাও লাগে ভয়! ওই দেখো দূরে দাঁড়িয়ে সে আসে না হায় এগিয়ে তবে শেষ নিঃশ্বাস কি হবে না ত্যাগ তার মুখ পানে চেয়ে! আমার একি বিষাদ যন্ত্রণা সে দেয় না কোনো সান্ত্বনা তবে মরার পরে আসবে কি সে পড়তে জানাযা!
Translation (English)
I don't want to live anymore
Being a burden to anyone
And pretending to smile even when hurt by people's words!
I have only one wish
I just want to die
But I'm afraid of how harsh God's judgment might be!
Look there, standing far away
He doesn't come closer, alas
Will I not take my last breath looking at his face!
This is my deep sorrow
He gives no comfort
Will he come after I die to attend the funeral prayer!
