Original Poem
Translation (English)
Your lips on my eyes!
What sweetness of stars slowly smoothes
my fallen eyelids...
Nothing exists in the world. I only feel your mouth
and the tremor of my spirit made flesh of light.
Be cruel when you kiss me. Tear my pupils
and pull from their shadow the light of my dream.
With it, I will give you my last look.
Burn my eyes! Let the weight of your lips
strip my horizon of what you have not seen.
I want to forget everything and dissolve in the mist
that your caresses girdle.
